The shop was dealing art, music, fashion, magazines and books and served simultaneously as a place for receptions and exhibition openings.
At the same time SACRE-COEUR worked as a creative studio working with graphic tasks, design and development of costumes, production of SACRE-COEUR'S own clothing line and more.
In 2006 SACRE-COEUR arranged the STOP trafficking festival with bands playing such as Speaker bite me, Sarah Hepburn and EPO 555.

SACRE ROKZ - HOUSE COMPILATION
Our two friends, Mai and Karina, used to own a fashionable store here in Copenhagen, Denmark, called Sacre-Coeur. We decided to put together a compilation of music which could only be obtained at the store including music by people that we had a personal relationship to. We're sad that the store is no more and we're sad for you that the compilation has sold out. It contained some really cool tunes. Several of the artists featured on the compilation have albums out. POPMAK - FEMALE INSANITY!
Two designers went to Paris in 2005 to attend Fashion Week. At nighttime they would return to their room at the Hotel Perfect and turn on their laptops. With no previous musical experience, and using only GarageBand and the built-in microphone, they gave birth to POPMAK and created Highway of Love.
All songs are recorded at the Hotel Perfect at Montmartre in Paris during one week in spring 2005. Instruments and samples are used from GarageBand and all lyrics are first take recordings improvised from notes. The songs are inspired by Fashion Week & spring in Paris, alcohol, cigarettes, love, friendship and Hotel Perfect.
